Posters
Posters communicate a message in a grandiose way. One generally thinks of a poster in terms of a large sheet of paper with printed images, artwork, and/or text plastered to a wall or fixed to some object. In effect, a poster looks quite similar to a flyer but on a grander scale. From movie advertisements to trade shows, a properly designed poster commands attention.
Creation
Poster creation can be accomplished in various formats, textures, and finishes. Posters usually are printed in the same manner and fashion as other print items such as postcards, business cards, flyers, stationery, etc. However, there is home poster creation software that is available for home users. As mentioned in previous articles, commercial printing may allow one to communicate the intended message beyond the quality and abilities of an at home poster creation. Besides quality and ability, outsourcing a poster project to a competent commercial printer will allow one to concentrate on other projects and or business aspects without incurring the headache of printing a quality poster.
